As a female photographer in today's world I feel so fortunate to be able to have the opportunity to be creative with a camera and for others to get the benefit of a female eye behind the camera. My Grandmother was a wedding photographer in the 1930s and had to pose as a man for people to buy her photographs! Luckily times have moved on and many appreciate that there can be many benefits to having a female photographer, such as: getting involved with the action for those girly getting ready moments on a wedding day without any awkwardness or being able to surprise your partner with an album from a boudoir shoot with me - without him wondering which man took these photos!

As a mum of two boys I am also very aware of the beauty of capturing the early and developing years as well as the difficulties that can be had with organising children for a photo shoot. As such I am very flexible and spend time with the family to accommodate the needs of any little people.

I love fashion and modelling and approach photographing my clients with an awareness of the human form and how to best create the relaxed but artistic and flattering poses when needed.
